Well, I'm glad I'm not in Calgary today! It is sunny and bright here, although certianly breezy, and is expected to be summerlike by the weekend.
In other news, I slogged my way through the assigned set of 20 x 100 on 2:30 at Nepean today. It was 50 choice hard, 50 free strong — Chris, Pat A and I chose IM order for the first length. I mentioned to Chris that it felt rather like after the 50 fly the subsequent 350 was recovery swim!
This will be the third last night of skills and drills before Nationals ... and by June 5th we'll be out at the pond! (That will be brisk! But nice to get a couple of open water swims in before the Flowers Sea Swim.)
The Boarder reports that a lovely male house finch came to his bird bath yesterday for a drink. Much like a red drinking happy bird, although it didn't carry on nearly so long.

June 5th... Brrrr. I'm beginning to regret signing up for a June 26th race!
Danielle, yes, I'll be in the river swimming sans wetsuit the 26th -- we'll compare frigid notes later! ;-)
