Since September 1 in 2008 I have now logged 751,578 in Masters Swimming Canada's Million Metre Challenge. But for those of you who might be thinking 1,000,000 is in reach by September 1, I think it is unlikely! Certainly by the end of the year, though.
Today, however, has been one of those sloggy days. It was soggy and cool outside this morning — 3°C, blustery and rainy. In fact the past two days have not been open window days, doubtless contributing to The Boarder's discontent! And it was a slog in the pool, too. So I came home and made muffins.
I've taken some chili out of the freezer for after Skills & Drills tonight -- the weather is suddenly more seasonal and the heat will be appreciated after the walk from the transit station. On the way back from Nepean this morning I seriously contemplated getting off at Westboro Station and taking the number 2 bus rather than walking from Bayview.

Meters not yards, too!
750 K is a boatload of swimming!
You rock.
Thanks!
I'm pretty sure I haven't swum 750,000 m in my life! That's a lot of m!
