The Boarder has had a busy day, including several sessions of speed work, a few hours in the sunny window, and he currently finds himself in pursuit of a dipteran. He also had a very exciting visit this morning from a corvid — not a raven, mind, but the crow was within six feet of his post at the rear of the house! And in a bit of synchronicity, my brother sent this wonderful linkshortly thereafter. I, on the other hand managed only some laundry, vacuuming, baking, visiting with Tipper and a short swim.
It was a nice pond swim last night, and hopefully it will be a nice one in the morning — it's our annual 4K beach to beach swim. The forecast is sunny, but cool, possibly as low as 6°C, with light winds. So we'll hope for higher than 6 & flat water!

Wendy, have a wonderful swim, and make sure to get warm again as quickly as possible afterwards!
Dipteran - I had to look that bug(ger) up.
I love that kind of visits. I have just bought some nests to host the birds in my garden. Also the bats!
Jenny, it was a fair to middlin' swim!
Al -- funny!
Black Knight -- me too!
