After all, he said we should do things other than swim. Although he definitely suggested power walking, I took a more leisurely approach. The Rotor family (plus one) came calling, and we went for a walk with their 4 month old Portugese water dog puppies Hawkeye and Hazel. Those aren't my legs. They are legs much younger than mine! We took the route I used to do with Praline, and then Xue. Always turn right out of the house, so the dog is trained never to walk towards Preston Street.
Then I took them on an outdoor tour of the Plant recreation facilities. We

Ok, so THAT'S what Portuguese Water Dogs are. They look too cute to eat goose poop, but dogs will be dogs!

goose poo, cat poo...it's all yummy to them!! I think the stinkier the better. Our friends in Michigan have a PWD. He is their 2nd one. What wonderful dogs they are!! I was torn between a PWD and an Old English. I had an Old English for 12 years. The personality of the PWD is so similar. I am still waffling a little but I may go forward with the OES.
