Probably not in August, though, on account of the shoes. So here you have a monarch egg in much more detail. Those who have been following along at home know that eggs are essentially oval in shape. But now you can see the linear ridges running lengthwise up the egg. Click to enlarge. If you set your page zoom to 125 or 150% you'll get the maximum detail possible.
